Hedenkamp’s very 1st ToonCon is next week, on Friday, April 22nd from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM in the MPR.  This is a FREE event.

Do you have your costume ready?  Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero, cartoon or book character.  There will be photo ops with a Snow Queen, San Diego Star Wars Society and the cast of ‘The Sakura’ from Montgomery High School.

Our Huskies’ creativity will be displayed throughout the night to showcase the work your child has done with our teachers and VAPA staff.  Enjoy Panels featuring local Artists and Authors.  Exhibitors include:

Remember to preregister your current Hedenkamp student to receive a FREE lanyard.  Simply visit the ToonCon 2016 Registration (control + click on link) to sign up.  Lanyards will be available for purchase at the event for additional family member or friends.  Lanyards are not required to enter the event.

The first 100 students to preregister will be entered in a raffle for $25 scholastic dollars for use at the book fair.

Food will be available for purchase in the blacktop area from L&L Hawaiian BBQ, Kuhi Kuhi Shave Ice, Tortifruit, and Tacos & Tarros, so
